Every year, around this time of the month, the end of October through the first week of November seems to be a busy week no matter what's happening. Look at last year ...
Halloween, we were busy Chipotle hopping throughout the Springs. When I say "we," I'm talking about me and my Harrison Crew. Then we celebrated Joy's birthday and then later in the week, the first ever Powder Puff Game at Harrison before finishing that weekend off with our "Hotel Gathering" at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Again, that was last year.
This year, things are a little different. We're no longer in high school, and most of us don't really keep in touch with each other anymore, well at least for me. I did the whole Chipotle hopping as well, except I did it on my own in Downtown Denver. It seemed like that whole weekend, and the week following it, I've been keeping myself real busy with things. Saturday I worked a mid-day shift before getting picked up to head to the Nuggets-Lakers game. This game was special in particular because it was Allen Iverson's last game as a Denver Nugget. Not only that, we got to see Montell Jordan perform, LIVE !! Things didn't end just there though, I got to do my usual window shopping at Cherry Creek before heading home to settle down Sunday. Monday seemed like to be the only normal day of my whole week. Nothing special really went on. I just went to class, then hung out with the crew in the student lounge chillin' and playing cards before heading out to pick some stuff up at the library. Those first two day of the school week that week I was really looking forward to because it was when I had to meet up with my scholarship advisor and my regular advisor about some major problems I had to get fixed ASAP.
After Monday, that's when things began to start happening. My Sociology class was cancelled in advance because of elections. After I dropped off my mail-in ballot, I thought I was going to be late for class, so I rushed to get to my Core Comp class on time. Little did I know, that class, too, was cancelled. So pretty much, Tuesday was a day of relaxation for the most part. The day went by fast too, because I had to work that night. Wednesday, was a day I had been looking forward to for the past couple of weeks because it was the day I planned to come to the Springs for the weekend. I went to class, as usual, then went out to downtown to eat some lunch with some friends before heading back to the lounge on campus to chill. I ended up heading out of Denver around four that afternoon to get to the Springs. I ate for a little while before deciding to hang with Dennis that night.
Thursday, the plans were to go to Harrison to watch the second annual Power Puff Game before going to Brunswick for College Bowling Night. It seemed like every day for this past week, something was going on ya know ?? It was great. On my birthday, I went out with my dad to eat out before going to Anthony and Amanda's house to celebrate Talia's .... or Lia-ta's first birthday. The night of my birthday was finished off with some late night grubbin' at Denny's with Giane and my sister. My birthday seemed to be celebrated again when me and a group of my friends went to Red Robin to go out to eat. We then finished the night watching Madagascar 2.
As many of you know, I just got a new job. Thing is, I haven't started yet; I start next week. I'm not on the schedule till next weekend. So I decided to come down to the Springs to hang out for the weekend. I was supposed to come down on Saturday morning. But with special, special, special thanks to someone, I was able to come here on Friday afternoon. Joy, Darlene, and I walked around 16th Street Mall after checking out my dorm. We didn't know what to get to eat, so after meeting up with Ray, we headed south for the Springs. We caught a little traffic, and we were getting a little hungry too. What we decided to do is to stop by the Castle Rock outlets to grab something to eat. When we got back to the Springs, we did a bunch of things before deciding to do a movie night. We went to Target to window shop and "try" to find some things to buy for my dorm. That didn't really turn out well. We met up with Briana and went to Hollywood Video to choose a movie. Prom Night was the movie we ended up choosing. Other people came by to watch the movie: Jeff, Jon, and Matt.
The next day, Joy, Darlene, and I went to Matt's house to celebrate his birthday. We ate, talked, and sang karaoke there. It was a fun time and the highlight of the weekend. Matt even shaved for the first time. What an accomplishment ayy ?!
I originally was supposed to head back to Denver EARLY Sunday morning, but that plan changed to Sunday Afternoon. Then yet again, the plan changed to early Monday morning. What can I say; I miss being in the Springs. Sunday night, Steven and I gathered up everyone to hang out. BTWITIAILWU !! (inside joke). Anyways, we met up in Wal-Mart before we headed to Anthony and Amanda's place to hang.
Computer time's the only thing I've been doing till I went to 24 Hour Fitness with Anthony, Matt, and Steven. I met up with them around 5:30 instead of the original time that was planned, 5:00. I got there a little early. So what I did before the others got there, I benched a couple of sets to kill some time. We played a lot longer than we thought. We didn't finish until almost 9. My shirt was dripped with sweat. Everything except my bottom of my shirt was sweated up. When I got home, I basically stayed on the computer for a little while before I passed out.
That next morning, I woke just fine. I woke up around 8 that morning to get ready to hang out with everyone. I ate a bowl of Wheaties and grabbed a banana before heading to Dennis's. I arrived at Dennis's on time, 8:45. I waited for the dude to get out of the shower. We then left to go pick up Jon, Jeff, then Steven. The first place we went to was the Chapel Hills Mall. We got there just on time. It was 10:05 when we walked in. We checked out the mall for a little while. We walked around most of the mall. The last place we checked out there was the store, It's Your Move. There was a shocking game they had going on. Compared to the gorilla shaking game at Chuck E. Cheese's, that was nothing compared to what we experienced at that store. For about twenty minutes, the game got addicting. Me and the rest of the others were hooked. There was this other game we also found interesting from the looks of the box. The game was called Dirty Minds. Dennis ended up choosing to cop that instead of the shocking game. The game was alright, but it was a disappointment. Though there were many riddles that were hilarious.
We were extra hungry by the time we left the mall. During that same time, that was when the soreness really kicked in for me and Steven. It was pretty bad lol. My butt cheeks were hurting and everything. It really sucked. Anyways, we left the mall to go to Cici's Pizza for lunch just around the corner. It was a pretty good deal if you asked me. A full buffet for under $6. We stuck around there for a couple of hours before chillin' in my car. After that, Dennis had to part ways as well as Jeff. The rest of us went to my house to relax and chill. I also gave Jon a tour of my house since it was his first time coming to my house. Soon, Jon had to leave too. He got picked up. Steven and I chilled for a good hour or two before Matt arrived. We soon left to the mall to walk around and then to Entertainmart to play some games. At Entertainmart, I ran into Victor and Kevin D. They were as bored as we were. While Steven and Matt played Guitar Hero and Super Smash Bros. Melee, I got hooked on this first-person shooter game, Frontline for X-Box 360. It was uber fun. After Entertainmart, I pretty much called it a night and said my goodbyes.
The title pretty much explains what happened throughout my day today. I woke up around 8 that morning to answer texts from Jon and Jeff about our status on going to the gym. Even though I woke up and responded to them them pretty fast, I fell back asleep. The next hour, I got a call from Jeff that they were on their way to my house to pick me up. It sucked cause I ended up laying in bed for another couple of minutes before actually getting up and getting ready. I went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and got dressed. Usually I would go on the computer to do some quick check ups on some stuff, but that didn't happen that morning. As soon as I got dressed, they arrived. So I quickly made a sandwich consisting of ham and pepper jack cheese and headed out in my slippers.
When we got to Garcia, the gym in Fort Carson, we all got our rackets and googles and went straight to the courts. We played a couple of doubles games. But as I found out, two weeks without playing any racquetball had an effect on me. My serves were really off compared to a couple of weeks ago and everything. We all concluded that each of us were off than usual because of it being early and all haha. We played all that way till about 11:30 that morning. After I got dropped off at home, I didn't really do much. I ate a meal and then fell asleep.
When I woke up, I had a huge headache. It really sucked ... Steven called to hang out. But he didn't call me back, so that didn't happen for me. I ended up just sleeping the whole day and through most of the night. I woke up around 11 and luckily my headache went away. I ended up just typing up some blogs and chatting with some peoples on Yahoo Messenger.
I had a lot to do today. Well not really. I just had something important to do for a last minute thing for college. I had one last scholarship to sign up for. It is called the REACH scholarship for engineers. Everything was fine except for one last recommendation letter. Thanks to Coach Rowland, he basically saved my butt by writing me one. I went to Harrison High School to meet with him for the letter. I then drove to China Doll to drop the application and everything to my mom to send it in by mail. A whole bunch of pressure was put off my back after I mailed that in. Even if I don't get it, it'll make me feel much better knowing that I at least tried.
Later that day, I drove to pick up Jon to go to Baskin Robbin's to meet up with Jeff. When we got there, we ended up seeing and talking to Ray. He was there with his Youth Group. For a short while, we pretty much just sat there and talked. The place we went next was to Jon's house to chill and relax. There, we got a chance to catch up with each other and just talk till about 10:00. From there, we just called it a night.
The day started out really early for me. I set my alarm for 5:45 that morning to make sure I have extra time just in case I hit the snooze. Which I did though. I finally got up at 6:10. I ate a quick breakfast which was a bowl of Wheaties, dressed up, packed up, and headed out on foot. I got out of the house around 6:50. About halfway through the walk to Ihop, where the meeting spot was at, I realized that I forgot the camera battery in the charger in my room. Yahh, I felt stupid for that. To my surprise, I was about 50 yards away from Ihop in Southgate and about to arrive on time until Amanda saw me and pulled over the side to pick me up. I wasn't too shocked though to find out that us two were the first ones there. We wait for a short while and everyone started showing up. Amanda's friend Kitty was the first one after us. Geoff and Jeff were the next ones to show up. I give props to Jeff for walking there from home like me lol. Before Kailaini showed up, Ray and Mina showed up together. When everyone finally got there, we hopped into two cars, Mina's and Geoff's. Ray, Amanda, her friend, and Mina all rode in her car. The rest of us rode in Geoff's car. It was Jeff and I in the back seats, Kailaini riding shotgun, and Geoff in the driver's seat.
The first place we went off to was King Sooper's to pick up our tickets. Geoff, Amanda, and her friend already had tickets. It was just the rest of us that needed to get the tickets. We got a family four pack and a regular ticket. So far, we were running right on time. Before heading to the highway, we dropped by my house to use my cooler for drinks. After dropping by a gas station, that's when we headed to I-25 for Waterworld finally. We arrived then close to eleven, but no quite. While Jeff was in line to buy his ticket and the rest of the group was waiting out front, me and Kailaini took the cooler to find a spot for our cooler and towels. Now we were ready to have fun.
The first thing we did that day was go into Thunder Bay and hang out there. We made it just in time for the wave, which was extra fun. The water was pretty cold, but it felt really good. We attempted to try and get in line for The Voyage to the Center of the Earth ride, known to me as The Dinosaur Ride. The line was much longer than I've seen compared to the last time I came to Waterworld. So instead, we walked a little and decided to make the Zoomerang our first ride of the day. We split up to three groups with that ride. The first batch was Kailaini, Mina, and Ray. The next batch was Amanda and her friend. The last batch was the rest of us guys: Jeff, Geoff, and me. We attempted to try and reach the top, that was a no-go for us. Right after that ride, we went straight into line for The Revolution, known to me as The Denver Nugget Slide. The wait wasn't as bad as it would've been if we didn't play these weird circle games that I've never seen before lol. The wait was worth it I thought. We then went to the racing slides in which all eight of us could race. It was fun. During the wait in line, one of us noticed this little girl that looked exactly like a younger Kailaini lol. When we got to race finally, Kailaini out on top and got first place. Before we went to go eat lunch, me, Geoff, Jeff, and Amanda's friend went to go on the tall white solo water slides while the rest of the people went to ride the racing slides again. Compared to the last time I rode this slide, it wasn't even as close to scary as it used to be for me.
As we were heading to lunch, I forgot to grab my slippers. So Jeff and I went to go grab them while the rest of the peoples went to the Big Top Express to wait for us. Problem was, Jeff and I had a misunderstanding of where we were supposed to meet everyone lol. Kailaini told me to meet them at the beginning to the Big Top Express while Jeff heard to go to the end of the ride at the other side of the park. It's ok though, everything eventually turned out ok and we were able to go and eat lunch. I don't really remember if the selection for the drinks that come with the family four pack was limited to Pepsi and Aquafina, but the selection really sucked. I was looking forward to getting a lemonade or a Nestea. But nope. Not only that, but they were no cheese pizzas because they were, "unavailable". That sucked too. Eating wasn't too bad. The only bad part about lunch was that there was this bee that kept flying around the cooler. It was really making me mad and it was scaring me too lol. The lunch would've been better too if there were more food instead of just that personal pizza and water and a couple bags of Sun Chips lol. But it's whatever though. We were told to leave early out of Waterworld because of Amanda and her friend. As a matter of fact, almost 2 hours early. So we had to make the best of the time we had left there. After eating, we dropped by the lockers to go grab some stuff. Speaking of the lockers, the lockers were freakin' expensive and useless in my opinion. It cost $.50 to open it up and lock it. That's not the catch. The only way the locker'll lock is if you put in another $.50. Not cool.
Anyways, after dropping by the lockers, we all tried to get in line to the Dinosaur Ride yet again. I guess because of time constraints, we ended up just riding Storm instead because the line was much shorter. The order switched up a little this time. This time, we went as all guys and all girls on the tubes. The ride was pretty fun. Instead of riding this ride a second time, we went to the other side of the park to ride the Screaming Mimi. Kailaini and Amanda sat this ride out and went to the Raging Colorado ride to get some tubes in line. The Screaming Mimi ride was basically a sled type of ride for two people. When we got to the front of the line getting ready to ride the ride, we realized one huge thing. Ray and Mina partnered up and Amanda's friend and Geoff partnered up. Notice that it's opposite sexes partnering with each other. My partner was Jeff. When you notice how the riders are positioned, you wouldn't be surprised to see us looking surprised at what we had to do. No homo. Other riders hydroplaned far. When Jeff and I went, we passed about 15 feet and then just stopped and sink. It was pretty funny. The last ride we rode was Raging Colorado. Ray, Mina, and Kai sat this ride out and went in line for the Lazy River. The wasn't too bad. I rode with Jeff while Geoff, Amanda, and Amanda's friend rode in the other tube. We had to call it a day right after that ride. It was pretty sad and disappointing, but it's cool. I had fun there. For the second time in a row, I had went to Waterworld with a totally different crowd. Each of the two times I went to Waterworld this year were different from the past couple of years of going to Waterworld with the Filipinos.
The ride back to the Springs was a long one. To avoid the daily rush hour in I-25, we went to take a detour through a different highway west of I-25. Even still, we were unlucky to catch part of the rush hour. The ride didn't seem like it lasted very long because we basically talked most of the ride. All four of us: Kai, Geoff, Jeff, and I gave each others part of our life stories which was a pretty interesting talk. When we got back to the Springs, we arrived at the Chapel Hills Mall exit, Exit 150. We stopped by Cici's trying to see if that was the place we were going to eat at. Instead, we ended up eating at the Taste of China Buffet near Chelton and Academy near the Sand Creek Library. I thought it would've been cheaper to eat at Cici's, but it would've been inconvenient for Ray and Mina since they were already down south. The food made up for it because of the sea food they were offering lol. Oh yahh ... crab and sushi. I felt like I didn't eat as much as I usually do though because of the subjects of our conversations at the table. SMH. Let's just say that it ruined my appetite. After that night, maybe that truly really proves my innocence. Much didn't happen after we ate. We decided to go to Mina's place to chill and relax. Jeff had to go home though. So it was just the five of us. We hung out at the park and played with Mina's dog, Moshi (sp?). It was a funny dog that's for sure. After hanging out and playing with the dog, all of us basically passed out on the carpets, with the exception of Geoff. He stayed awake the whole couple of hours we were there. Falling asleep for sure showed how much today worn us out.

At the Bear Creek that morning, there was a breakfast promotion for $0.95 breakfast for their country fried steak breakfast plate. I had to wake up about an hour and a half earlier than pretty much everyone else because I had to bike. I pretty much woke up around 4:30 that morning. Before I left to bike to Anthony's place up on North Jetwing, I had a bowl of Wheaties to ensure that I won't get hungry on the bike ride there. I arrived at his place right on time so we could head out carpooling. We got there with already many people there eating. I was with Anthony, Amanda, Talia, Amanda's brother Gabe, and her mother. We didn't really have to make the waitress wait for us order, cause we already knew what we had in mind. Before we got our food, Amanda forgot Talia's diaper bag so she had to run back to the house to grab it. Our food came to us before Amanda got back so we started eating. About halfway through my plate, Amanda arrived back. Soon after, Briana and Matt came in as well. For only $0.95, I don't think I've ever had as humongous of a breakfast as that. The country fried steak took up nearly all of the plate and the biscuit looked like a Mondo Burger (Good Burger anyone ??) sized dinner roll. As usual, I cleaned out my plate, it was great. After that, we didn't really do anything else. We stuck around the parking lot talking (and gossiping *cough* lol ..) for almost a hour it felt like. We ended up splitting up after that.
When we arrived back at Anthony and Amanda's place, I called it a day with them and went off biking back toward my place. On the way there, I stopped by the shop through the strip of Southern Academy. I checked out Hancock Plaza and even browsed around window shopping at the Dollar Tree there. When I got back home, I passed out for hour till about noon I think. That night, Jeff and I made plans to go watch the new Mummy movie, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor at Tinseltown. But before that, that was when I had nothing to do .... at all. I thought about what to do and finally came up with a solution to use up some time. I decided to start making a whole new Myspace profile. After checking out this one dude's profile, it inspired me to make my own because I realized that I was capable to make one as good as the one I saw. I started with just the left side of the page. I ran out of time eventually because I had to go to the movies, so I put the project aside for night.
When I arrived at Tinseltown to meet up Jeff, Keanan, and Nick, I easily found a parking spot. That wasn't the most surprising part of that night. What surprised me was the amount of Harrison High Schoolers were there. After the movie, we saw people like Jeanette there. Anyways, on the way up to the front, I saw Keanan. As I was walking, out of nowhere, these people started to talk to me like they knew me. They knew who I was, but I really didn't know who they were. After all that, I met up with Keanan to wait for the other two and then something else happened. So this thirteen year old came up to me and started talking to me like she knew me as well. She kept trying to think of a name for me I guess. She called me Allen and Alex repeatedly until I finally just said that that was my name. Nick was the next one to arrive. I told the two to go ahead of me and go into the theaters because I had to wait for Jeff. He had my ticket, so yah. When he arrived, we went to the theater just in time for some movie previews.
After the movie, I was disappointed somewhat. Compared to the first two Mummy's, this was one the corniest of the three. Also, the actress who played Evelyn, the wife in the first two Mummy's, didn't return for the sequel. That made me almost as mad as I was when Katie Holmes didn't return to reprise her role as Rachel Gawes in The Dark Knight and instead put an uglier person in for the role. The movie wasn't too bad though, if they were to take out the corny jokes and put Rachel Weisz in to play Evelyn, then the movie would be pretty decent in my opinion. Anyways, after the movie, we were stuck figuring out what to do.
So what we did was that we went to the McDonald's near Harrison High School. Coincidently, all of us drove .. except Matt. So to save gas, we decided to carpool with Nick's Escort to go the McDonald's. There we didn't even get anything to eat. We just hung out and a couple of them got themselves just a drink. After Jeff left to go home, the rest of us went to Nick's place to chill for a little while. Nick and Matt went onto the computer while me and Keanan played a game of NBA 2K8 on the PS3. After that game, we called it a night. All of us went our separate ways. I left and went straight to Ihop in Southgate to meet up Julie and Giane for a midnight snack.
I had to wait slightly longer than usual for them because they were running on Filipino time, for sure. After about 25 or so minutes, they finally arrived. Marie Fe, Victor, and Steve with his friend, showed up as well. There were a lot of people there that night. Maybe it was because we went in during the drunk rush. Basically when everyone was getting out of the clubs to cop something to eat. I ordered a simple sampler which I finished amazing fast. That wasn't the highlight for the stay there. The highlight was this drunk guy confronting us and talking to us out of nowhere. He was just hilarious. He kept talking about dance battles and American's Best Dance blah blah. It was insane. Another funny situation there was when Marie Fe ordered out of the freakin' dieters menu lol. Her chicken was dry as the Sand Dunes. As we were heading out, that same drunk guy made an insult towards Steve. It was crazy because once Steve turned around, the guy quickly said he was kidding. Funny stuff.
I woke way too late that day. I think it was just my second time waking up at one in the afternoon. After eating and of course, getting on the computer, I went to bike to Jeff's house. There, I helped him and the rest of his family out by teaching them how to use their network to its full potential. Jeff, I believe, was super happy when I got everything set up for them. When Matt, Nick, and Keanan arrived, we hung out, player some video games, and played a game of horse and knockout in his backyard. Jeff had some small rims there. One of them was about a seven footer and the other was about a nine and a half footer. The game with horse was pretty interesting. We included both dunks and shots in the game of horse we played. Once that was all done, Jeff had to go to church while I went to 7-11 to fix up my bike. The others went somewhere to go eat. My bike seemed to be losing air, but I couldn't figure out where the hole in my tire was. Good thing nothing bad happened on the ride back home. I went straight home to finish some more stuff on the computer. The tire didn't seem to lose any air on the way, luckily. While I was at home, I ate a huge piece of lemon roast chicken from Sam's Club with some rice. Almost right after I finished eating, I quickly washed up and went straight to Dennis's .... DRIVING !!
When I got there, I went down to their basement to watch 300 with Kyle and Dennis. Soon after, I was greeted by his mom with some grilled cheese sandwiches. I ate a total of three, which was absolutely tasty and amazing great. We chilled and played some games of pool when more people arrived there. We did that, look at some pictures on my laptop, and some people were also playing some NBA Live on X-Box 360. Towards the end of the night, we tried to rap battle on camera. It ended up just being me rapping with myself because no one wanted any of this lyrical gangbang I was throwing at them haha. But anyways, Kyle eventually gave in and starting freestyling, as with me ... well, we were trying. The thing that put us in even more pressure was that Dennis's mom took a front seat to watch me vs. Kyle. Now that's was fun. Before we knew it, it was about four hours since we arrived to his house. We basically called it a night because it was getting late. What a fun night.
Well the day started out with me finishing up the text part of the blogs from Elitches and the Pike's Peak Incline and Bowling that next day. I was sorta worried that I was going to get behind because I had a lot on my mind for those blogs. Luckily, just before I left to go meet up with the others to hang out and play basketball at Sinton Park, I finished the Elitches video and at the same time finishing the last couple of sentences for my latest blog that day. Around four that afternoon, I headed with my bike to Sinton Park. I thought I was going to be late or something. To my surprise, I was the first and only one there for about 15-20 minutes. Good thing though, people eventually started to show up. Originally, we had plans to go swimming right after the park. But that didn't happen. We stuck around the park, not necessarily just playing basketball the whole time, but pretty much just hanging out and attempting back flips. I myself didn't attempt any back flips, but Jeff did. The results weren't pretty when he tried doing one a second, guided lol. Matt and Keanan also attempted to try and do front flips. Keanan eventually successfully completed one ... and on video. After we got thirsty, we all went to 7-11 to cop ourselves some Slurpees.
While we were there, I gave Keanan and Matt the idea to start taking a collection of picture in front of places doing back flips. While they were doing their back flips, they seemed to be getting some attention. These two guys started walking out and they confronted Keanan and Matt. They convinced them to do yet another back flip for them on video. Now that's what you call Keanan and Matt, monkey flipping celebs. I called it a day for myself with them and split ways to go to Giane's place to meet up with the rest of the Flips. When I got there, Julie took me home to drop my bike off while I got washed up and ready to go to downtown for dinner. When we got back to Giane's we left straight to downtown to meet up with Julius and Romano at Old Chicago.
Download: Pictures from Sinton Park
When we parked and tried to get a seat at Old Chicago, there was a thirty to forty-five minute wait for the table. So what we ended up doing to kill time for dinner, we just walked around and talked. While we were walking, that's when we met up with Julius and Romano. Time seemed to go by fast because before we knew it, we were called to get seated. When we got seated, it took us a short while to figure out what we wanted to get. I ended up being the last one at the table to be undecided. When the time came up, I decided to get a mushroom swiss burger. In the end, I ate a lot. I ate my food, some of Marie Fe's chicken sandwich, some of Julie's nachos, some of Giane's fish, and some of RJ's quesadilla. I was stuffed. After staying there for about two and half hours, most of us went back to Giane's to chill. RJ left when we got back, same with Marie Fe. Julie and Hannah stayed behind to go to the Ritz for a couple of hours. So we just chilled and talked and me, Steve, and Mav watched Giane and Julius practice for the dance before we eventually left for home when Hannah and Julie arrived back.
This Friday wasn't too bad. As a matter of fact, it really tired me out surprisingly. As stated on the blog entry before this one, I went on pretty long hike with Joy and Darlene on the Pike's Peak Incline. Well after the hike, we all went to Sooper Salad to grab some lunch. I haven't had Sooper Salad in such a long time, so I basically ate my butt off. Two plates full of salad with a mango and cranberry kick to it, some cornbread, a bowl of clam chowder, a piece of pizza, a bowl of macaroni and cheese, a baked potato, and a plate full of fruits was all what I ate there. So yahh, I made my $6 for the buffet worth it I think considering I also had a "free" slurpee from 7-11 for Free Slurpee Day. Well we were supposed to go play some tennis after settling our lunch, but the girls backed out cause they claimed that they were too tired from the hike up the Pike's Peak Incline. So instead, I left to go bike to the gym for a couple of hours. After leaving the gym and heading to the house, I quickly had to take a shower and dress up cause Jon was going to go pick me up for the movie, Hancock. The movie wasn't too bad as people claimed, but I guess the fatigue really kicked in cause I sorta fell asleep for about 15-25 minutes of the movie, I honestly couldn't tell how long I slept lol. But yahh, the movie wasn't too bad. Once the movie finished, most of us were feenin' for some food. So we all decided to go to Wendy's to grab something to eat. From there, we basically called it a night.
